Using Accent Tiles on Bathroom Floor

Sandra blog 7a

Good news! The supplier has agreed to hand pick replacement tile for those pieces that were darker than the others. Meanwhile, construction continues. The large format floor tile is installed along with a “runner” of natural river rock also being used for the shower floor.

The cabinets, shelves and lighting are installed without a problem. The walls are painted a soothing shade of aqua that mimics one of the colors found in the river rock. Next the towel bar and rings are mounted. Cabinets in place, I can now schedule the measure for the countertops. I recommend a natural quartz material which is durable and maintenance free.

Once again, Sandra makes a quick decision and selects HanStone’s “Speccio White” which is eye-catching with its small specs of glass that reflect light and add a touch of sparkle. The final step will be the measure for the custom-made shower door. I’m hopeful that the replacement tile will arrive by then.
