Working exclusively in oils, Kirsten Sisk manipulates the medium using layers of transparency and opacity to create glowing embers of color and employs a dynamic interplay of tone and line to create illusions of architecture and space. Her paintings quickly lend themselves to personal interpretation with their complexity and deliberate ambiguity.
Kirsten's work is collected and exhibited across the country. She currently resides in Chicago, where she recently completed her MFA at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
