Featured Project: Let the Sun Shine in!

This small outdated kitchen was completely renovated just in time to let in spring’s sunshine. The wall between the kitchen and the dining room was opened up to allow the space to fill with sunlight and feel larger. The quartz countertop extends to a large seating area for enjoying casual meals or keeping in touch with the cook. Its rich brown color complements the dark glazing on the maple cabinets (see the close up photo below). The glass mosaic tile backsplash pulls together the rust and brown color scheme. A brick red border frames the kitchen and sets it off as a focal point for the entire first floor of the home.

Featured Product: Quartz Countertops

Quartz countertops are an excellent substitute for granite. Quartz has the feel and weight of a natural stone, but with superior quality. These surfaces are made from 94% natural quartz which is a by-product of crystallization. It is extremely hard, non-porous and resistant to acids. Its best feature may be its low maintenance. No sealing is needed, just regular cleaning. There are several manufacturers who offer countertops in this beautiful and lustrous material.
