First on the list for this Master Bathroom renovation was to incorporate as many eco-friendly items as possible. This goal was achieved with a bamboo vanity and its counter top of concrete imbedded with recycled glass and natural shells. A dual flush toilet and Kohler shower system conserve water while remaining functional and beautiful. With so many new products and innovations, there is no excuse for not going “green.” Next on the list was to open up and unite the shower/toilet room with the vanity area. The full height wall and door between them were replaced with a “privacy” height partition. To separate the reconfigured bathroom from the hallway/closets leading to the bedroom, a sliding glass door was installed. Warm tones of rust and amber are highlighted by blue accent tiles. This renovated master bathroom is beautiful, spacious, functional and eco-friendly.
A dark wood vanity sits below a smooth china counter with an integrated sink. Porcelain tile throughout is an especially strong, maintenance free material. A recessed medicine cabinet and chrome fixtures complete this renovation.
