About Entwine/Cozy Modern Home I have always been passionate about knits—their texture, feel and comfort. Before becoming an Interior Designer, I designed and manufactured sweaters which were sold to stores throughout the country. Looking for a way to bring knits back into my work, I created a line of knitwear for the home. My design philosophy is to create a cozy modern home—a home that you will look forward to being in, that gives you comfort and security, has texture and color, that is uncluttered and arranged in a functional way. In looking for a manufacturer of my products, I became interested in the Fair Trade movement. What better way to expand my design philosophy than to help others have a better life and perhaps a more comfortable home. All of my products are made by Fair Trade Laborers--workers are paid a fair wage and have decent working conditions. So feel good knowing that your purchase is helping others.
